What this site collects directly

Nothing. There is no login, no newsletter signup, no contact form and no user account on Riffle. The only personal data we ever receive is what you choose to put in an email to [email protected], and we keep that only as long as it takes to answer you.

Advertising and Google AdSense

This site is supported by advertising and may display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

DoubleClick and third-party cookies

Ads served through Google may use the DoubleClick DART cookie or comparable identifiers to record what has been shown to a browser and to limit how often the same ad is repeated. These cookies are set by the advertiser's domain, not by lilacs.pro, and we cannot read them. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information are collected, to request deletion of that information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Riffle does not sell personal information. Any sharing that occurs for the purpose of personalised advertising is controlled by the consent mechanism described above and can be switched off there.

Server logs

Like every website, the server that delivers these pages records requests — IP address, time, requested path, referring page and user-agent string — in a standard access log. Those logs are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse, and they are not combined with any other data to identify individuals.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

River guides link to the sites of fishing associations, clubs and government agencies. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.
